Joshua was here! :D
Great mockup, have you submitted to [link] ?

But I'm just afraid that's not possible to make that with nautilus, but still a great idea, it could be a base for a new file management app
thanks for the advice, ill submit it right now!!
Awesome. I would go for something lighter just because it's doubtfull that people will allow a dark theme to become default. I would also try to change the look of AWN a little so that people dont say it looks like MAC. Perhaps that new swoosh theme on the bottom. Personally I think it's brilliant and hope to see more of your work soon!

I think you should make that interface yourself, then post the skin to dA, and replace Ubuntu's skin. :)
You've done all the conceptual work!

And yes, I really am The King of Idaho, Wikipedia it you damn skeptic!
I'm sorry, but with the menu bar, the dock, and the layout of SongBird, why don't you just use OS X?

I really like the idea behind it! It's slick, neat, and looks very fluid.
I think that the icons have a nice style to them. The M$ ones will have to change in favor of more 'official' ones for Openoffice and Pidgin. But I like the direction. Openoffice.org should have some nice icons like the mac M$ office icons.

This looks much better than the ones that typically get picked. Looks good. A few hints from OS X with a touch of Vista rolled into some mad Ubuntu eye candy. I like it.
